I recently had to create my first SEO report for a big retail client. So as you might imagine I went and did some research into what you would normally expect to see in such a report that would give the client all the details that they would require.
During my research I was surprised to find that there was not much if any information into what people would include in their SEO reports or what clients would like to see in the reports given to them by an SEO agency.
So I went back to the drawing board and looked through all the data that I had collected and thought what would I like from an SEO report and what information and actions can I take from the data that has been given.
I came up with the following list to put into my SEO Report:-
1. Summary of Findings
2. Overview of Traffic and Revenue
3. Keyword Analysis
- Traffic
- Revenue
- Brand and Generic
4. External Link Analysis
5. Actions
What do you think of my first SEO Report? Is there anything that is not in there that you feel should be? Give us an insight into what you would put into your SEO Repots.
